This is a great link and very important for parents!!!

My middle son has snored since he was a baby (he’s going on 15 now)..We thought he was a deep sleeper..As her got older he had trouble sleeping, or staying asleep, we thought he was just restless..By the time he entered junior high he was sleeping in class, always in a foul mood, and a walking zombie.. We thought he was staying up late to snaek in computer time or watch tv..Sadly, we grounded him, took his tv and his computer..We put him on a strict bedtime schedule, no daytime naps..It only got worse..He would wander all night..We would find him sleeping on the couch, on his sisters bed, on the floor, in the chair, and then back in his bed..

HE HAS ALWAYS HAS PROBLEMS WITH HIS TONSILS..wE TOOK HIM TO SPECIALIST AFTER SPECIALIST, CHECKED THE SIZE OF HIS TONSILS AND ADNOIDS FOR OBSTRUCTION..Nothing..

Finally we were sent to yet another ear nose and throat specialist, who after doing sleep studies found our son had SEVERE and dangerous APNEA..The cause, we couldn’t believe..ALLERGIES..

He was only breathing with a 10% capacity thru his nose, which always caused his throat to become and tonsils to swell..which then lead to obstruction and apnea..He now uses a prescription nose spray and allergy pills and is a new child!!!

Hi Oscar,

It’s saddening to hear what your son went through all his childhood. We hope others take it as an example and don’t even dare to take their child’s snoring habit casually.
